Brad 'bebad' McCloud and The Case of the Blues band is slated to play on Thursday, April 8th at 8:00 pm at Zimm's food and spirits in Des Moines, Iowa (see map and link below). This will be the first round competition for the Iowa Blues Challenge. Case of the Blues will be the 2nd band of the night out of 5 total bands playing at the Zimm's venue. The top 2 bands will be sent to the finals, to also be held in Des Moines in May. The winner of the finals will be entered in the 2011 International Blues competition to be held in Memphis, TN. And we also have some great news to share! Our entry for the 2010 Iowa Blues Challenge has been mailed to the Central Iowa Blues Society. This will be the third entry for "The Case of the Blues" and we're hoping for a third-times-a-charm performance this year. First round will be held this April at both "Zims" and "Blues on Grand". With our new band line-up and some great new original songs from 'bebad' himself, we're looking to enlighten and impress even the most discriminating blues listeners from the greater Des Moines area!
